Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all logistics and supply chain activities for WCS programs in Rwanda.
- Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to support conservation initiatives.
- Manage procurement, warehousing, transportation, and distribution of essential resources.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards for logistics operations.
- Lead and mentor the logistics team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Collaborate with program managers to integrate logistics planning with operational needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience (10+ years) in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in a non-profit or international development context.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent understanding of supply chain best practices and inventory control.
- Ability to work effectively in challenging and remote environments.
- Proficiency in logistics software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Commitment to the mission and values of wildlife conservation.
