The Wildlife Conservation Society is seeking an experienced Logistics Director to lead and optimize logistics operations for its critical conservation programs in Rwanda. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all logistics and supply chain activities for WCS programs in Rwanda.
• Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to support conservation initiatives.
• Manage procurement, warehousing, transportation, and distribution of essential resources.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards for logistics operations.
• Lead and mentor the logistics team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Collaborate with program managers to integrate logistics planning with operational needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience (10+ years) in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in a non-profit or international development context.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent understanding of supply chain best practices and inventory control.
• Ability to work effectively in challenging and remote environments.
• Proficiency in logistics software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Commitment to the mission and values of wildlife conservation.
