Key Responsibilities
- Accurately document patient encounters, medical history, physical exams, and treatment plans in real-time.
- Assist physicians with administrative tasks, including retrieving lab results and imaging studies.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient records and sensitive information in compliance with regulations.
- Ensure all medical records comply with hospital standards and quality assurance protocols.
- Facilitate efficient workflow within the Health Information Management department.
- Support the overall goal of providing holistic, patient-centric care and operational excellence.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent listening skills and strong typing proficiency.
- Ability to understand medical terminology and clinical context.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical conduct.
