Key Responsibilities

Safely transport personnel, materials, and equipment as required by the organization. Maintain the vehicle in good working condition, performing daily checks and minor repairs. Ensure strict adherence to traffic laws and internal safety regulations. Keep accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance. Assist with loading and unloading items when necessary. Report any vehicle defects or incidents promptly to the supervisor.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Good communication skills and a responsible attitude. Familiarity with local roads and traffic regulations in Mozambique. Commitment to AVSI’s mission and values.
