Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport personnel, goods, and equipment as required by the organization.
- Ensure the assigned vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and in good working condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and AVSI’s internal safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain accurate logbooks of journeys, mileage, fuel consumption, and service records.
- Provide logistical support for field activities and project implementations.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type.
- Good knowledge of Mozambican traffic laws and local road networks, especially in target provinces.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle checks and minor repairs.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
