Key Responsibilities

Safely transport personnel, goods, and equipment as required by the organization. Ensure the assigned vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and in good working condition. Adhere to all traffic laws and AVSI’s internal safety policies and procedures. Assist with basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly. Maintain accurate logbooks of journeys, mileage, fuel consumption, and service records. Provide logistical support for field activities and project implementations.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type. Good knowledge of Mozambican traffic laws and local road networks, especially in target provinces. Ability to perform basic vehicle checks and minor repairs. Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
