Key Responsibilities

  • Align MEA subsidiaries procurement processes and procedures with corporate procedures and policies.
  • Train staff on Corporate Procurement guidelines and conduct spend analysis to identify savings opportunities.
  • Negotiate or renegotiate contracts to consolidate purchasing volumes in the MEA region and manage costs effectively.
  • Develop and manage the procurement team, defining roles and responsibilities, and ensuring effective training and workload balance.
  • Act as Regional Purchasing Lead, increasing local market expertise to ensure available local sources when necessary.
  • Implement Supplier Management Platform (SMP) as per Corporate guidelines for registration, contract management, and performance measurement.

Requirements

  • Business Administration or Engineering degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
  • Strong communication skills and solution-oriented behavior.
  • Good knowledge of and interest in products/services/sales activities and local suppliers for automation components.
  • Strong and lengthy experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts.
  • SAP knowledge.
