Job Overview
Verne is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager for a 12-month onsite role in Keflavík, Iceland. You will lead the delivery of a large-scale infrastructure project, ensuring safety, quality, budget, and timeline standards are met. Job Responsibilities
- Oversee daily project operations including scheduling, technical execution, and risk management
- Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure quality outcomes
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, and scope changes while ensuring profitability
- Lead on-site safety, health, and environmental compliance
- Manage client and stakeholder relationships with transparent communication
- Implement governance, KPIs, and continuous improvement practices
- Mentor and lead cross-disciplinary project teams to drive accountability and success
Requirements
- Proven track record managing large-scale construction or infrastructure projects onsite
- Strong project management skills with financial and commercial oversight
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
- Knowledge of project delivery frameworks, risk management, and quality assurance
- Ability to manage and coordinate cross-functional teams effectively
- Proactive problem solver with a focus on safety and continuous improvement
