Job Overview

SKM Air Conditioning LLC is seeking a Purchasing Officer to buy materials required by production and other departments, ensuring items meet the production schedule. You will secure and negotiate the best prices, lead times, and payment terms with suppliers, and source new suppliers and products in coordination with Procurement Engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Review incoming purchasing requirements for accuracy and specifications.
• Generate and place purchase orders with vendors.
• Work closely with vendors to ensure accurate and on-time delivery, updating the ERP system.
• Coordinate with Material Planner to evaluate inventory and determine necessary purchase quantities.
• Source out new suppliers and products, coordinating between Engineering, R&D, QA/QC, and Suppliers.
• Maintain vendor approval and price lists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge of planning, purchasing & logistics policies and practices.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office & ERP software.
• HVAC Experience is preferable.
• Negotiation Skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
