Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for building projects.
  • Administer construction contracts, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions.
  • Conduct detailed cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project expenses.
  • Manage variations, claims, and final account settlements with contractors and clients.
  • Monitor project financial performance and provide regular reports to management.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure financial objectives are met.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, specifically within building construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and relevant local regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation software and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a demanding environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
