Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for building projects.
- Administer construction contracts, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions.
- Conduct detailed cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project expenses.
- Manage variations, claims, and final account settlements with contractors and clients.
- Monitor project financial performance and provide regular reports to management.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure financial objectives are met.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, specifically within building construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and relevant local regulations.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a demanding environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
