Job Overview
Elevate Aircraft Seating GmbH – formerly Adient Aerospace – designs and manufactures innovative Business Class aircraft seats with passion for design and precision engineering. At our Kaiserslautern site, we are seeking several Shipping & Receiving Clerks (m/w/d) starting December 1, 2025, to strengthen our Operations team.
Job Responsibilities
- Independently process goods receipt and goods issue, including internal logistics
- Check deliveries for completeness and reconcile invoices and order documents
- Define packaging methods and shipping types for domestic & international transports
- Request, compare, and evaluate freight quotes
- Ensure correct packaging (Packaging Data Sheet) and prepare shipping documentation
- Handle customs formalities in compliance with company and country-specific regulations
- Organize transport orders and collaborate with freight forwarders (including special transports)
- Monitor deadlines and follow up with reminders where necessary
- Manage returnable packaging stock, packaging material, and consumables
- Support additional logistics and operational tasks as needed
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training
- Several years of professional experience in shipping/receiving within an industrial environment
- Valid forklift license and driver’s license
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and ERP systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- High resilience, flexibility, and ability to work in a team
- Willingness to continuously develop and contribute ideas
- Good German (required) and English (spoken/written) skills
