Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute end-to-end payroll processes accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare comprehensive payroll reports, analyses, and reconciliations.
- Resolve complex payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries promptly.
- Collaborate closely with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Contribute to process improvements and implementation of best practices in payroll.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience as an Accountant, with strong expertise in payroll.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Uruguayan payroll legislation, tax regulations, and compliance.
- Proficiency with relevant payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in Spanish.
