Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor the progress of orders from placement to delivery, ensuring adherence to schedules.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve any delays or issues.
- Review and verify supplier documents, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date expediting reports and communicate status to relevant stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks in the supply chain and implement mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement and expediting processes.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in expediting, procurement, or supply chain roles, preferably within the energy or oil and gas industry.
- Proven ability to manage multiple vendors and complex procurement processes.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and MS Office applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
