Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee complex financial management activities for development projects. Provide expert advice on financial policies, systems, and procedures to internal and external stakeholders. Ensure stringent compliance with World Bank financial guidelines and international accounting standards. Conduct thorough financial analysis, risk assessments, and performance monitoring for initiatives. Mentor and guide junior financial staff, contributing to their professional development and capacity building. Collaborate effectively with government officials, partner organizations, and other agencies on financial strategies.

Requirements

Proven experience in financial management, preferably within an international development context. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities for diverse environments. Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in multicultural teams and complex settings.
