Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute comprehensive internal audits across various departments and projects, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and governance frameworks.
- Identify and document control deficiencies, potential risks, and areas for operational improvement.
- Prepare clear, concise, and objective audit reports detailing findings, conclusions, and practical recommendations.
- Conduct follow-up reviews to monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on internal control matters to management and staff.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in internal audit, preferably within the real estate or construction industry.
- Fluency in Arabic (speaking, reading, and writing) is essential for effective communication with stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards (e.g., IIA IPPF), accounting principles (IFRS), and relevant financial regulations.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex audit issues clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, or ACCA are highly desirable.
