Key Responsibilities

• Lead the selection, evaluation, and approval of construction and manufacturing materials.
• Develop and implement comprehensive material specifications, quality control plans, and testing protocols.
• Conduct detailed material failure analysis and recommend effective corrective actions.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, suppliers, and clients to ensure material compliance and optimal performance.
• Oversee all material-related documentation and ensure strict adherence to industry standards and regulations.
• Provide expert technical guidance and support on material issues throughout project lifecycles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Material Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Material Engineer, with a strong background in construction or manufacturing.
• In-depth knowledge of material properties, testing methodologies, and relevant international standards.
• Demonstrated ability to perform failure analysis and propose practical, effective solutions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using relevant engineering software and analytical tools for material assessment.
