Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop exceptional user experiences for Canonical’s cloud networking products.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define UX requirements and strategy.
- Create detailed wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze feedback to inform design decisions.
- Ensure design consistency and adherence to Canonical’s brand guidelines and technical standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and best practices within the team.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, with a focus on cloud platforms, networking, or complex enterprise software.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to articulate design decisions effectively.
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment and manage multiple projects.
- Understanding of open-source principles and a passion for community-driven development.
