Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage line maintenance operations at the Gaborone station.
- Ensure all aircraft maintenance activities comply with aviation regulations and company standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot aircraft systems and components efficiently.
- Manage technical staff and coordinate maintenance schedules.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures for all maintenance work.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance performed and parts used.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance engineering, preferably at a line station.
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations (e.g., FAA, SA-CAA) and MRO best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead a team and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Valid aircraft maintenance engineer license (e.g., Category B1 or B2) is highly desirable.
