Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all stinger operations during offshore pipeline installation, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate with the project team, vessel crew, and other departments to optimize stinger performance and operational flow.
- Conduct regular inspections of stinger equipment, identifying and addressing any maintenance or repair needs.
- Ensure proper calibration and functioning of stinger control systems and associated machinery.
- Implement and enforce all safety protocols and environmental regulations during stinger operations.
- Prepare daily reports on stinger activities, progress, and any operational challenges encountered.
Requirements
- Proven experience (2+ years) in offshore construction, specifically with stinger operations or pipeline laying.
- Strong understanding of marine and offshore safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to lead a team and coordinate complex operations effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions in dynamic environments.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in demanding offshore conditions.
