Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement effective swimming training programs for various age groups and skill levels.
- Provide expert coaching and technical instruction to improve swimmers’ performance and technique.
- Ensure a safe and positive swimming environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Monitor swimmers’ progress, provide constructive feedback, and motivate them to achieve their goals.
- Organize and supervise swimming lessons, practice sessions, and competitive events.
- Communicate effectively with swimmers, parents, and academy management regarding development and progress.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Swimming Coach, preferably at a mid-senior level.
- Valid swimming instructor/coach certifications (e.g., ASCA, STA, AUSTSWIM).
- Strong knowledge of swimming techniques, stroke correction, and training methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and motivational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- First Aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
