Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze market risk exposures across various commodities and financial instruments.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly risk reports for management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of risk models and methodologies.
- Support the trading desk with risk limits and compliance checks.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate risk data aggregation and reporting.
- Identify potential market risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 2+ years of experience in market risk or a similar analytical role, preferably within commodity trading.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex risk information.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced global trading environment.
