Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage teller operations, including cash transactions, check deposits, fund transfers, and foreign exchange services.
- Supervise, coach, and develop teller staff to maintain operational accuracy and consistent service delivery.
- Monitor and contribute to achieving branch service KPIs, including customer satisfaction metrics and transaction accuracy.
- Manage cash limits and exchange positions in accordance with branch authorization standards.
- Act as the primary point of escalation for complex transactions and customer inquiries.
- Ensure the security of undelivered cards, checkbooks, and sensitive customer information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in banking, business, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in banking operations, with at least 3 years in teller operations and supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of branch operations, cash management, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in banking software and systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of local banking regulations and practices in the UAE.
