Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and modification of manufacturing tools and fixtures.
  • Support the maintenance and repair of existing production tooling to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot tooling-related issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in testing and validation of new tools to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for tooling processes and equipment.
  • Learn and apply best practices in tooling engineering within an automotive manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
