Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and modification of manufacturing tools and fixtures.
- Support the maintenance and repair of existing production tooling to ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot tooling-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in testing and validation of new tools to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for tooling processes and equipment.
- Learn and apply best practices in tooling engineering within an automotive manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities for cross-functional collaboration.
