Key Responsibilities

• Prepares material takeoffs from engineering drawings, plans, and specifications, including AutoCAD drawings.
• Assists in developing detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) for contracts and projects.
• Supports Estimating Leads with historical data and estimate database management.
• Prepares and summarizes bases of estimate (BOE), including scope, method, pricing, and assumptions.
• Utilizes parametric historical estimate data to develop probable cost estimates.
• Obtains quotations by developing necessary information for subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Reviews contract documents to assess contract risk and potential cost exposure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of related work experience in infrastructure projects and pre-contracts.
• Clear understanding of construction contract commercial documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with typical project controls software such as Primavera.
