Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and oversee audit and assurance engagements from initiation through completion.
• Develop Risk-Based audit strategies, audit plans, and programs in accordance with ISAs.
• Oversee the identification and assessment of risks of material misstatement and the design and execution of appropriate audit procedures.
• Supervise and review audit working papers, ensuring sufficient and appropriate audit evidence and proper documentation.
• Evaluate internal control systems, identify control deficiencies, and communicate findings and recommendations.
• Assess significant accounting and auditing matters, exercise professional judgment, and prepare technical conclusions and supporting documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in external auditing, including experience supervising and managing audit engagements within a public accounting firm.
• Strong technical knowledge of ISAs, IFRS, and applicable auditing and financial reporting requirements.
• Syrian Certified Public Accountant (SCPA) license is required.
• International professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and familiarity with audit software.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
