Job Overview
Euronet EFT Segment is hiring a Bank Reconciliation Specialist to join our Warsaw office. This role is central to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting across multi-currency, multi-regional operations. You will be responsible for monitoring discrepancies, reconciling accounts, and safeguarding financial control in a high-volume, fast-paced FX environment. Job Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of multi-currency, multi-regional bank accounts used for FX trades, settlements, and customer transactions
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, escalating issues when necessary to mitigate risk
- Prepare monthly variance reports on account balances vs. ledger, highlighting FX fluctuations and timing differences
- Work closely with trading, operations, and banking partners to ensure timely processing of complex FX and settlement transactions
- Support internal and external audits with detailed documentation and compliance reporting
- Ensure all reconciliation processes comply with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in bank reconciliation (preferably in banking/financial services)
- Strong understanding of foreign exchange and multi-currency transactions
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation practices
- Strong time management skills to meet strict deadlines
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams
- High integrity and discretion in handling sensitive financial data
