Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand ReliefWeb’s network and services.
- Identify and cultivate new partnerships with humanitarian organizations, donors, and key stakeholders.
- Represent ReliefWeb at international conferences and networking events to promote its mission.
- Lead negotiations and secure agreements to enhance content contributions and platform utilization.
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for new digital services or platform features.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align business development initiatives with organizational goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within the humanitarian or international development sector.
- Strong understanding of global humanitarian affairs and disaster response mechanisms.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a diverse, multicultural team.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of other UN official languages is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
