Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of detailed cost estimates for engineering projects.
- Monitor project expenditures and compare them against approved budgets.
- Support cost control activities, identifying potential variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Prepare regular cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow projections for project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to optimize project costs.
- Maintain accurate cost data and documentation for analysis and audit purposes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in cost engineering or project controls, preferably within the transportation, logistics, or supply chain sector.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with various teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
