Key Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain Couchbase NoSQL database clusters for optimal performance.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of critical database environments.
• Perform database tuning, capacity planning, and troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
• Manage database backups, recovery procedures, and implement disaster recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams on database design and deployment.
• Implement and maintain data replication and synchronization across environments.

Requirements

• Extensive proven experience as a Couchbase DBA or in a similar NoSQL database administration role.
• Deep understanding of Couchbase architecture, data models, and query languages.
• Proficiency with database monitoring tools and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience in database security, access control, and compliance.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
