Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Databricks and Apache Spark.
- Implement and optimize data infrastructure to support machine learning models and analytical applications.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to understand data requirements and deliver robust solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are met across all data platforms.
- Monitor data systems for performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive improvements.
- Contribute to the architectural evolution of Karo Healthcare’s data and machine learning platforms.
Requirements
- Proven professional experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong focus on Machine Learning infrastructure.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Scala for data manipulation and scripting.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and distributed data processing.
- Ability to work effectively in an agile, fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality data solutions.
