Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive 3D models for cable systems within electric substations.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety standards, electrical codes, and project specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and project managers for seamless integration of cable designs.
- Perform detailed calculations and simulations to optimize cable routing, sizing, and performance.
- Prepare accurate technical drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for manufacturing and installation.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes, tools, and methodologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in 3D CAD design, particularly within electrical infrastructure or power systems.
- Strong understanding of electric substation components and cable system design principles.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, EPLAN).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
