Key Responsibilities
- Define and champion the overarching design strategy and vision for Toptal’s products and services.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing global team of designers.
- Oversee the end-to-end design process, from research and conceptualization to implementation.
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure a cohesive user experience.
- Establish and maintain design standards, best practices, and a scalable design system.

Requirements
- Extensive proven experience in a senior design leadership role, preferably within a remote or distributed company.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating successful product design, strategic impact, and user-centric solutions.
- Deep expertise in UX/UI principles, information architecture, design systems, and modern design tools.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to attract, develop, and retain top design talent from diverse backgrounds.
