Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement efficient and safe electrical systems for containerized and modular building projects.
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with relevant local and international safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate closely with fabrication, carpentry, and project management teams to ensure seamless electrical integration.
- Conduct thorough testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems during and after construction.
- Prepare accurate technical drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for all electrical components.
- Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams operating across East and Central Africa.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in electrical design, installation, and maintenance, preferably in industrial or construction environments.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety procedures (e.g., Kenyan electrical regulations).
- Proficiency in CAD software for electrical system design and drafting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a valued member of a multidisciplinary team.
