Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for various construction projects.
- Conduct thorough quantity take-offs from architectural drawings and specifications.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and control.
- Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare comprehensive tender documents and contract agreements.
- Monitor project progress and prepare financial reports on expenditures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor, preferably within a general contracting environment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for cost analysis and quantity surveying.
- Proficiency in relevant estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Relevant educational background in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
