Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for various roads and asphalt construction projects.
• Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to determine project scope and requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to gather all necessary information for accurate bidding.
• Evaluate sub-contractor and supplier quotations for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications.
• Identify and assess potential risks, opportunities, and value engineering options related to project costs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, pricing, materials, and construction methods to ensure competitive estimates.

Requirements

• Associate level experience (2+ years) in estimating specifically for roads and asphalt projects.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to read and accurately interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is highly preferred.
