Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with NRC policies, donor regulations, and local financial laws.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead the annual audit process and implement recommendations for improved financial controls.
- Provide financial guidance and support to program teams to ensure effective resource utilization.
- Develop and implement robust internal control systems to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager, preferably within an NGO or humanitarian context.
- Strong knowledge of financial management principles, accounting standards, and donor compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Ability to work effectively in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and working knowledge of French/Creole preferred due to location.
