FinOps Expert / Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day L1/L2 support for D365 F&O and D365 Sales, ensuring quick resolutions and clear guidance for users.
• Manage the full ticket lifecycle, from intake and prioritization to troubleshooting, resolution, and closure.
• Govern L3 escalations with third-party support vendors, tracking SLAs and validating fixes.
• Lead incident and problem management to identify recurring issues and implement permanent fixes.
• Coordinate controlled changes and releases, including impact assessment, testing, and post-release validation.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Build internal D365 capability through training, documentation, and fostering a network of D365 Champions.
• Support access and license governance, aligning permissions and optimizing license costs.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with D365 F&O across Finance, Project Management & Accounting, and Supply Chain Management modules.
• Working experience with D365 Sales (CRM), including lead and opportunity pipeline management.
• Experience in a Techno-Functional Lead, Functional Consultant, or Solution Architect role.
• Hands-on experience with Dynamics configuration, workflows, and functional troubleshooting.
• Experience with LCS, Azure DevOps, and structured release management.
• Proven experience managing external vendors and SLA-based support.
• Strong communication and documentation skills, able to engage both business and technical teams.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
