Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the safe and efficient loading and unloading of cargo from vessels.
- Operate and maintain equipment associated with hatch operations.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth terminal operations.
- Inspect equipment and work areas, reporting any malfunctions or safety hazards.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and order within the work environment.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a port environment.
- Strong understanding of port safety regulations and operational guidelines.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar operational role, preferably in port or marine operations.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and varying weather conditions.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for record-keeping and understanding instructions.
