Franklin Electric Europe, a global leader in water supply and irrigation systems, is seeking a Junior Accountant to join its finance department in Wittlich, Germany.
This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in accounting who enjoys working with numbers, has a strong eye for detail, and is eager to grow in a dynamic international company.
Job Responsibilities
As a Junior Accountant, you will:
- Manage accounts receivable and payable, including invoice posting, reconciliations, and payment monitoring.
- Handle bank and payment transactions, such as posting bank entries, executing payment runs, and managing petty cash.
- Support financial reporting and closing by preparing expense reports, balance sheets, and assisting in monthly and annual statements under HGB/US-GAAP.
- Maintain documentation and communication, ensuring proper filing of financial records and coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with:
- Completed commercial training or equivalent qualification.
- Initial experience in accounting (AP/AR, bookkeeping).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MS Office, and ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
- Strong German and English language skills.
- A structured, reliable, and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Team spirit, excellent communication skills, and discretion in handling sensitive financial data.
