Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all logistics operations including procurement, warehousing, and transportation.
- Ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods and services to support program activities.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock reconciliation.
- Oversee fleet management and ensure vehicles are maintained and utilized effectively.
- Coordinate with local suppliers, partners, and internal teams for seamless supply chain management.
- Ensure strict adherence to AVSI’s logistics policies, procedures, and donor regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably within the non-profit or humanitarian sector.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in French or Portuguese is highly desirable.
