Key Responsibilities

• Creating a climate for learning conducive to outstanding practice.
• Identifying clear teaching and learning objectives and setting challenging tasks.
• Providing clear structures for lessons, maintaining pace, motivation, and challenge.
• Using a variety of teaching strategies to match approach to content and use effective questioning.
• Assessing how well learning objectives have been achieved and marking students' work at least once every two weeks.
• Preparing and presenting informative reports to parents and taking part in subject development.

Requirements

• Passion for teaching and caring for students.
• Bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related subject with a recognized teacher qualification (e.g., PGCE).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in the relevant field.
• Commitment to an extensive enrichment program and recent involvement in extra-curricular activities.
• Experience with students for whom English is an additional language.
• A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services or Police check.
