Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the plant and workshop, focusing on rail and infrastructure equipment.
- Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities for commercial and industrial machinery.
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of technicians and workshop personnel to ensure productivity and quality.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and quality control standards.
- Manage workshop budget, inventory, and procurement of spare parts and tools efficiently.
- Optimize workshop processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in plant or workshop management, specifically within the rail or infrastructure industry.
- Proven leadership capabilities with experience in managing diverse technical teams.
- Strong understanding of maintenance planning, asset management, and operational best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
