Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems for quarrying operations.
- Troubleshoot and maintain PLC systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to integrate PLC systems with other automation components.
- Develop and maintain documentation for PLC programs, configurations, and procedures.
- Conduct training for technicians and operators on PLC systems and related equipment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a PLC Engineer in a mining or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages (e.g., Ladder Logic, Structured Text).
- Experience with various PLC platforms (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose PLC-related issues.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
