Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough cost estimations and prepare detailed bills of quantities for pre-contract stages.
- Provide expert advice on contractual matters, procurement strategies, and risk assessment during the planning phase.
- Collaborate with design and project teams to ensure cost-efficient solutions and value engineering.
- Prepare tender documents, evaluate submissions, and assist in contractor selection processes.
- Develop and maintain cost databases and benchmarks for future projects.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations in all pre-contract activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a pre-contract or design-focused role, preferably 5+ years.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and associated costs.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in relevant QS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced real estate development environment.
- Experience with UAE market practices and regulations is a plus.
