Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee anti-financial crime operations and processes effectively.
- Ensure strict compliance with Bank Negara Malaysia regulations and internal policies.
- Conduct thorough investigations into suspicious activities and transactions.
- Develop and implement robust Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Financing of Terrorism (CFT) frameworks and controls.
- Provide guidance and training to junior staff on financial crime prevention best practices.
- Prepare and submit accurate regulatory reports as required by authorities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in anti-financial crime, AML, or compliance within the financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in Malaysia, including BNM guidelines.
- Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced digital banking environment.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CAMS) are highly advantageous.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
