Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train stewarding staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Oversee the proper handling, storage, and maintenance of all kitchen and event equipment.
  • Coordinate with culinary and events teams to ensure timely setup and breakdown for various functions.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety regulations within the stewarding department.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and kitchenware, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Contribute to creating a pristine and efficient environment for all events hosted at the centre.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a stewarding or kitchen operations role, preferably in a hotel or convention centre.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to operate and maintain various kitchen and cleaning equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
