Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret geological data in real-time during drilling operations.
- Provide expert geological supervision and support at the wellsite.
- Accurately document geological findings, including lithology, stratigraphy, and reservoir characteristics.
- Collaborate effectively with drilling and operations teams to optimize well placement.
- Ensure the precise collection and analysis of geological samples.
- Prepare comprehensive geological reports and logs according to industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Wellsite Geologist.
- Strong understanding of geological principles, subsurface interpretation, and drilling operations.
- Proficiency in geological logging software and data acquisition systems.
- Excellent observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively and safely in challenging wellsite and remote environments.
