Pakistan Embassy Warns: Strict UAE Visit Visa Rules Enforcement

The Pakistan embassy in Abu Dhabi has issued a warning to its citizens to adhere strictly to UAE visit visa requirements. The embassy emphasized the necessity of having proper documentation, adequate funds, and valid accommodation to avoid the risk of being sent back upon arrival. This alert aims to address the rising number of Pakistani travelers being denied entry due to insufficient documents and to prevent misuse of tourist visas for job-seeking purposes.
Strict Adherence to Visit Visa Requirements
Documentation and Financial Requirements

The embassy highlighted the need for visitors to have at least Dh3,000, a return air ticket, and valid hotel accommodation. Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, stressed that travelers should only proceed once all documentation is complete to avoid the risk of being turned back at UAE airports.
Avoiding Misuse of Tourist Visas

Travelers have been cautioned against using tourist visas to seek employment without concrete job offers. The UAE has tightened its entry rules to prevent jobseekers from overstaying their visit visas, which has resulted in many being denied entry.
Increased Checks and Public Awareness

UAE authorities have intensified checks to ensure compliance with visa rules. The Pakistan embassy is working to spread awareness through social media influencers to ensure that potential travelers understand and adhere to these regulations to avoid complications.
