AI Product Owner

Oliver Wyman Digital is seeking an AI Product Owner to join their dedicated practice in Dubai/Abu Dhabi. This role is crucial for shaping AI products and agentic solutions as part of Oliver Wyman's AI-first transformation initiatives for clients and the firm. You will be responsible for defining the 'what' and 'why' of AI products, from business discovery and workflow design to prototyping, validation, user adoption, and achieving measurable outcomes.

This is an opportunity to work in small, multidisciplinary teams alongside AI Product Engineers, consultants, and client teams on live engagements. The role is ideal for individuals who want to design and build working agentic solutions, witness their business impact directly, and develop the breadth to lead complete AI products.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape AI products and agentic solutions for Oliver Wyman's AI-first transformation work.
• Own the definition of AI products, from business discovery and agentic workflow design to prototyping, validation, and user adoption.
• Work in multidisciplinary teams alongside AI Product Engineers, consultants, and client teams on live engagements.
• Design and build working agentic solutions, see business impact first-hand, and develop the breadth to lead complete AI products.
• Define acceptable use, permitted data access, human accountability, and decision boundaries for responsible AI.

Requirements

• A degree in business, design, engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated experience with product, digital delivery, user research, service design, or process improvement.
• Evidence of personally building, testing, and improving at least one working AI, agentic, or automation prototype.
• Ability to discover user needs, map processes, and turn ambiguous problems into clear requirements, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
• Working technical understanding of LLMs, agents, tool calling, context, retrieval, APIs, and common failure modes.
• Practical experience refining agent instructions, tool configurations, or workflow steps using realistic scenarios and feedback.
• Ability to identify dependencies on data, systems, permissions, and human approvals, and recognise technical or operational constraints.
• Understanding of functional acceptance testing for agentic behaviour.
• Product judgement and interest in defining success measures, assessing business value, and using evidence to improve products.
• A human-centred design mindset, with attention to clear user journeys, trust, transparency, accessibility, and adoption.
• Strong problem-solving, workshop facilitation, and collaboration with business and technology stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
