Estimator II

Zachry Group is seeking a talented and self-motivated Estimator II to join their Estimating department. This role can be based in Chicago, Houston, San Antonio, Charlotte, Omaha, or remote for qualified candidates. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine estimating assignments using standard techniques, procedures, and criteria for assigned project phases.
• Prepare estimate basis documents detailing craft scope, quantity sources, vendor pricing, and productivities.
• Create estimate basis clarifications when proposal documents lack clarity.
• Compare the scope of the current project with past projects of similar scope.

Requirements

• Ability to use Cleopatra estimating software on Zachry-provided hardware.
• Internet connection required for performing the work.
• Availability for field work and walking down scope to be estimated.
• Mobility for site visits, including at heights using stairs or ladders, and use of PPE.
