Factory Director (Aerospace & Defence - UAV/UAS Manufacturing)

SEGULA Technologies is seeking an experienced Factory Director / Senior Manufacturing Leader to establish and manage a new unmanned aerial systems manufacturing facility in Abu Dhabi. This greenfield leadership role requires a hands-on executive to build the operation from the ground up, overseeing all aspects from industrial setup to serial production and delivery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for industrial licensing, CAPEX, facility mobilization, production, engineering, quality, supply chain, HSE, site administration, customer interface, and overall factory performance. This is a critical role reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead industrial licensing, permitting, and approval processes with UAE authorities.
• Develop and manage CAPEX plans, mobilization schedules, and production-readiness milestones.
• Establish and implement an AS9100 / ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Build the factory organization from the ground up, including structure, workforce planning, and recruitment.
• Oversee the site's operating budget, P&L, management reporting, and KPI framework.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing management.
• Minimum 5 years at senior management / director level.
• Direct UAV/UAS, aerospace or defence manufacturing experience is required.
• Proven experience delivering a comparable industrial project in the Middle East, preferably a greenfield or newly established facility.
• Fluent Arabic and English are mandatory.
