• Experience: At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience
• Qualifications: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and vocational or technical background. Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond and attend to guest repair requests, communicating with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs on various equipment including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Safely perform complex repairs of the physical property, electrical, plumbing and mechanical equipment, air conditioners, refrigeration and pool heaters.
• Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and vocational or technical background.
• Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification.
• At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in at least three of the following categories: air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and/or general building management.
• Ability to train and mentor other engineers as necessary.
• Ability to perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities.
